Villa La Munittula is nestled in the heart of low Salento. Characteristic building of local stone in the Salento countryside. Surrounded by an acre of land consisting of: secular olive grove, citrus, nuts, fruit trees and shrubbery. The villa is located a few minutes away from the village of Torrepaduli (fraction of Ruffano). The many windows on all sides make the indoor environment ventilated, cool and bright. The distance from the sea is 13 km from the Ionian sea (Torre San Giovanni) and 13 Km, from the Adriatic (Tricase port). It's equidistant from Otranto, Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca: about 35 km The convenience is that you can choose the type of beach depending on where the wind blows. Adriatic sea – High cliffs and sand (Otranto area); Jonian sea - beaches with white sand.

The Museum is located in the nineteenth Acquarica Villani Palace, Piazza of Amicizia.
Opened in 2008, was born in order to enhance an art peculiar to the social and economic history of the country: the processing of reed marsh.

The crypt is located on the road that from Ugento leads to Casarano, right at the crossroads to Melissano. Thanks to the City of Ugento, a wonderful conservative restoration has been done returning it to the public in early 2006.

Characterized by an expanse of clear water and cold that the sea has carved into the rock, is of considerable interest for the discovery of a paleontological deposit Middle and Upper Pleistocene.
