Association of volunteers GAIA - Corsano

GAIA is an Association of volunteers who care about the future of its own territory.

Initiatives
GAIA is an Association of citizens working in the territory. They are committed with initiatives of protection, training and solidarity for the development of the territory and its sustainable growth. The GAIA's volunteers give their time and expertise in constant action for integrated planning and awareness of the environmental, cultural and social sector that have recently led the association to operate within the Partnership of the International Cooperation and Promotion of Human Rights Culture in Puglia.
Its missions are: the environment, culture and solidarity, they have been  dealing for years with environmental education in schools, with training and active involvement of pupils, teachers, parents, associations and institutions

Projects
The Association of volunteers GAIA was born with the belief that active citizens can change freely and for the better their own territory. This cultural revolution, in the economy and in social work, is possible thanks to the contribution of people who offer their expertise and experience to their own community. The commitment of GAIA, in planning for the sustainable development of the territory, goes from the environment conservation to culture, from accessibility to international cooperation. In this view, GAIA has already implemented many initiatives and projects, while others are currently under construction: a yard always open where each stone is placed higher than the previous one.
